RANGER X who brought our attention to this matter, has gotten an apology to the world from PEER, an employee's organization that mistakely claimed that Park Rangers were not allowed to state the true age of the Grand Canyon. It turns out, they can.This is part of the on-going dispute with certain religious groups which claim the Canyon was created during the "great flood" of Noah less than 6,000 years ago. They're welcome to that odd notion.
