Yeah, but if you believe the talking heads out there (I'm talkin' about you, WaPo), he really was an OK guy.
It's mystifying (well, not really) that some people are willing to overlook his atrocities simply because he served our interests well.
I'm sorry, but there are some things you just can't mitigate.
