CLEAN WATER ACTION and the election

Clean Water Action of Michigan, part of the national Clean Water Action organization (CLICK FOR SITE) is strongly recommending the re-election of Jennifer Granholm, based on the candidates' stands on environmental issues.

They are not only positive for Granholm, but quite negative about DeVos.

They base this on issues of water quality, Canadian garbage, and mercury in the environment. They say Granholm has made good progress in all these areas while DeVos has been opposed.

This is an easy one for tree huggers.

No doubt about it. Easy call for greens, easy call for most everyone, I would hope.

Voting for Jennifer Granholm is very important, but if you can find the time, it's almost more important to get out there and help the party find voters and get them to vote.

If you have the spare time, please call up your local party HQs and ask how you can help. They'll definitely appreciate it.
